About Jeff
Hopefully, this is more interesting than you might expect…
I care about people. That is probably enough about me, but it would look weird on this page, so here is more.
My wife and I have been married since May 1986, the same month I graduated High School. I don’t recommend it, but there was no reason, other than mercy, for her to marry me, and I had to seal the deal before she figured that out. A few years later, we began to learn how challenging parenting can be, and we raised three kids, all of whom are now married.
Professionally, I have been in ministry for much of my life, but I am also a licensed professional counselor and trainer/speaker. I have a bachelor's in Theology and a master's in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I am currently working on my dissertation for a PhD in Social Psychology. All of my degrees are from Christian universities.
Most importantly, I am passionate about my relationship with God. I love to dive deep into His Word and swim around like a scuba diver in the ocean. I am always eager to be enveloped by His beauty and preeminence. Scripture is a revelation of the unlimited and permanent God to His intentionally designed people living life surrounded by the temporary. However, the unlimited God is ever-present and always “with,” inviting us into permanent union with Him.
